‘Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwara’ is a Sanskrit spiritual chant, recited in praise of the Trimurti, that is, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva (Maheshwara).
‘गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णु गुरु देवो महेश्वर’ एक संस्कृत आध्यात्मिक मंत्र है, जिसे त्रिमूर्ति, यानी भगवान ब्रह्मा, भगवान विष्णु और भगवान शिव (महेश्वर) की स्तुति में गाया जाता है।

Meaning of Guru Brahma Mantra
Guru Brahma – Guru is Brahma, the Lord of Creation, also called Janaka, Guru Vishnu means Guru Vishnu (Vishnu is God who is said to be the organizer), Guru Devo Maheshwara means Guru Maheshwara (Shiva or the Destroyer ), Guru Sakshat Parabrahma means Parabrahma ie. Supreme God or Almighty.
Because Guru leads us to the path of light therefore Guru is equal to Brahma and Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah means we bow down to the Guru who leads us to the path of light.
Thus we can say that Guru is the Supreme Brahma and the incarnation of the Supreme God.
गुरु ब्रह्म मंत्र का अर्थ
गुरु ब्रह्मा – गुरु ब्रह्मा हैं, सृष्टि के देवता, जिन्हें जनक भी कहा जाता है, गुरु विष्णु का अर्थ है गुरु विष्णु (विष्णु भगवान हैं जिन्हें आयोजक कहा जाता है), गुरु देवो महेश्वरा का अर्थ है गुरु महेश्वर (शिव या विनाशक), गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म मतलब परब्रह्म यानी। सर्वोच्च ईश्वर या सर्वशक्तिमान।
क्योंकि गुरु हमें प्रकाश के मार्ग पर ले जाता है इसलिए गुरु ब्रह्म के समान है और तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः अर्थात हम उस गुरु को नमन करते हैं जो हमें प्रकाश के मार्ग पर ले जाता है।
इस प्रकार हम कह सकते हैं कि गुरु परम ब्रह्म हैं और परमेश्वर के अवतार हैं।
